Referees Association organizes refresher course for members

Cape Coast, July 29, GNA - A-two-day refresher course for 37 referees in the Cape Coast Metropolis ended at the Robert Mensah Stadium on Sunday.

The course which was organized by the Central Regional Referees Association of Ghana, took the participants through rules of referring and determining of issues like panel offences, off-sides, fouls, direct and indirect free kicks, as well as match reporting. Mr Joshua Mensah, Regional Instructor for the Association, in his closing remarks cautioned the referees against partiality in handling of matches.

He said this will enable them to take the proper decisions in order to stem rowdyism during soccer matches. 29 July 08
