Red Devils sign Kwame Nsor

German side FC Kaiserslautern have signed Ghana youth striker Kwame Nsor. The club was relegated from the Bundesliga and seek to bounce back into the top flight as soon as possible.

The four-year-deal expires in June 2016 and Nsor was signed from French second-tier side FC Metz.

Kwame Nsor was a member of Ghana's African Youth Championship squad in 2011 who tried, unsuccessfully, to replicate the gold-medal winning feats of their predecessors. His style is languid, but packs a powerful right foot, although he is increasing using his left as well. His obvious advantage is his height, as he towers above his teammates easily.

His style of play has long earned him the moniker "Adebayor of Ghana". Speaking to reporters, the chairman of Nsor's new club spoke highly of the youngster from the French Ligue 2.

"With Kwame Nsor we have secured the services of a talented young striker, who brings all the necessary qualities and has a huge potential to develop," Stefan Kuntz said.

Locally, he played for Mighty Jets and Wa All Stars, then went to Metz. He was playing in his final year there and got two goals in just six first team starts.
