Red Cross fun games on Saturday

This year's Ghana Red Cross Society (GRCS) Fun games would be held at the El-Wak Stadium in Accra on Saturday 25 April. Kofi Acquah, President of the society who announced this at the launch of the games in Accra on Thursday, said 22 institutions and corporate bodies are expected to take part in the one-day games of Soccer, Tug-of-war, Athleltics and Ampe.

He named the participants of the event, which is aimed at raising funds for the society's activities as Maersk Ghana Limited, Ghana Water Company Limited, Electricity Company of Ghana Limited, Dizengoff Ghana Limited and State Insurance Company of Ghana Limited who are sponsoring the event.

Others are Fan Milk Limited, Media Eleven, Ghana Oil Company, Multichoice Ghana Limited, AFGO, Mobil Oil Ghana Limited, Unilever Ghana Limited, NTHC Holdings, and Radio Gold.

The rest are Ghacem Limited, Planned nParenthood Associationn of Ghana, Enterprise Insurance nCompany, Nestle Ghana Limited, Social Security and National Insurance Trust, Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Adom FM and Peace FM. Acquah called on other corporate bodies, and institutions to come to the aid of the Association to enable it execute its projects.
