CD Guadalajara goalkeeper Brimah Razak has been handed a massive platform to make a case for himself as the Black Stars of Ghana prepare to take on Japan this morning.
The 25-year-old was a second half substitute when Ghana drew 2-2 with Turkey in the last friendly match played by Kwesi Appiah’s men.
With the goalkeeping position getting very competitive, the former Nania FC player will be hoping to make the grade.
Also in the line-up is Anderlecht’s Frank Acheampong who has had a great start to his 2013/2014 club career.
The 19-year-old was one of Ghana’s best performing players during the 2013 Fifa U20 World Cup in Turkey.
The versatile Esperance full back Harrison Afful has also been deployed in midfield while John Boye takes over the captaincy in the absence of most of the senior players.
The match in Yokohama will be played at 10:20 GMT.
