Indignant Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila jumped above himself to inspire Kuwaiti league leaders Al Qadsia to a 4-1 victory over Al Sahel FC on Saturday afternoon.

The former Asante Kotoko defender who was recently alleged to be involved in a juju scandal shot the matter into the gutters as his performance did not depict a troubled player.

Sumaila, 23, was as usual a pillar in defense for the Kuwait league leaders guiding them from the slippery attack of Al Sahel.

Al Qadsia took the lead in the first half through Bader Al Motawa in the 22nd minute who doubled the tally for Qadsia five minutes later and followed it with his third before the break.

Bader who was on heat made it four for himself and Al Qadsia just as the second half commenced.

Sahel FC pulled a consolation with five minutes to end the game.

Sumaila whose performance has been hailed by his play mates was solid in defense with his rocky performance for the leaders as they maintained their lead.
