Fulham and Aston Villa back for Derek Boateng

English Premiership sides Fulham and Aston Villa are once again on the heels of Ghana international Derek Boateng for a possible winter move.

Goal.com Ghana can reveal that the impasse between the Ghanaian and his Dnipro coach Juande Ramos has reached a stage that they are willing to release him.

Boateng, 29, has barely featured for the Ukrainian side this season after coming out publicly last season that he wanted to leave, which was against the wish of the Spanish coach.

A supposed move to Fulham failed to materialise during the last day of the summer transfer, but the midfielder will be allowed to move to either Craven Cottage or the Villa Park for an amount in the region of three million Euros.

The former Getafe midfielder has previously had spells in Panathinaikos, AIK Solna, Beitar Jerusalem and German side FC Koln.
