Arsenal Tuna defender, Richmond Nketia, is confident his former Under-20 play mate Baba Rahman will excel at Chelsea FC, despite the player not enjoying much playing time.
“For me I really think Baba Rahman just needs some time to settle at Chelsea, looking at his first game he played for Chelsea he was excellent,” Nketia exclusively told Starrfmonline.com.
He was certain Rahman has the required qualities and efficiency to start for any European team in any club competition.
“Maybe Jose Mourinho wants him to adapt to the system of the club because normally every coach wants every player to adopt his system of play so I think Baba will get the chance to play,” Nketia stressed.
Rahman joined Chelsea FC from Augsburg during the summer transfer window for 21 million Euros.
Nketia currently plays for Arsenal Tuna in the Russia second-tier league, his runs and speed at the right back position for his club can never be in doubt.
The former Medeama SC young enterprising right back was an integral member of the national U-20 squad that won bronze in the FIFA U-20 World Cup which was played in Turkey in 2013.
