RTU players threaten to strike

Players of Real Tamale United are demanding an increase in remuneration for the remaining matches of the GT premier league.

Joy Sports gathers that the players have threatened to begin a strike action tomorrow if the club?s management fails to increase their salaries.

Players of the club according to Joy Sports sources have been receiving ?300,000 (less than $50) as monthly salary and a winning bonus of ?150,000 (less than $30) for the past four years.

The players have threatened the boycott ahead of their upcoming league encounter with Hearts of Oak on Match-Day-19 of the GT Premier league.

Real Tamale United currently lie sixth on the league table.
