Kumasi, Dec 5, GNA - Real Tamale United (RTU) gave their Premiership survival dream a boast when they picked a point off King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium in their goalless week-14 Glo League duel in Kumasi. The game, an uncompromising one watched by a few supporters dotted around the arena saw the visitors who sit at the foot of the table picking a vital point to increase their haul to nine points.
It was the homers who created the first decent chance in 18 minutes when Ofosu Micky tore away beautifully but fumbled when it mattered most to the disappointment of the supporters.
RTU responded well to the threat with Sumaila Nyanya coming close to getting the visitors ahead a minute later and on the half hour mark respectively by to no avail.
The tempo of the game did not change but it was Faisal determined to carry the day that played all three substitutes at once in search of a goal from recess but the RTU defence stood still and thwarted such intentions. 05 December 10
