RICS consult strikes partnership with media firms

RICS Consult Limited, Ghana’s foremost sports business consultancy firm, organizers of the forthcoming 4th Accra Biennial Sports Expo due to be held at Accra Sports Stadium from Tuesday, 15th to Friday, 18th May 2012, will be joined by two media houses as partners to host the event.

RICS Consult Limited has entered into partnership with Multimedia Group Limited as the exclusive Radio partners through its radio network, including Adom FM, Joy FM, Hits FM, Nhyira FM, Luv FM and Asempa FM; as well as Multi TV network.

According to the agreement, Multi TV and Asempa FM will cover and broadcast selected events including the opening and closing ceremonies, while Joy FM and Adom FM will provide updates, which will also be carried by both Luv FM and Nhyira FM.

Also on board in the new media arrangement is Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), publishers of the nation’s widely circulated newspapers – Daily Graphic, The Mirror, Junior Graphic, Graphic Showbiz, and Graphic Sports.

Magnus Rex Danquah, Chief Executive of RICS Consult, said in a statement copied to GNA Sports that GCGL's decision to support the 4th Accra Sports Expo, 2012 was influenced by its innate desire to help uplift and promote all sports in their entirety in Ghana, using all its platforms.

The Sports Expo under the theme: ‘Promoting Africa’s Talents Globally: Role of Sports Business’ will focus on ways of leveraging all facets of sports business principles and practices to develop and globally promote Africa’s Sports Talents, while the Expo Conference will seek to reach consensus on a designed road map to assist African nations, governments, sports policy makers, administrators and performers to re-think sports as an emerging industry with all its attendant benefits to grow African economies.**
