A proposal by the Regional Association Chairman of the Ghana Football Association to increase their delegates from three members to five members has been voted against by Congressmen at the Ordinary Congress of the Ghana FA.

Reading the proposal on behalf of the Regional Football Association, Lawyer Prosper Harrison Addo disclosed that the RFAs would like to increase their membership at Congress from three to five.

But the Congressmen voted 51 as against 21 to maintain the three member delegation with Mr. Oluboi Commodore of Accra Great Olympics moving the motion.

Mr. Commodore contended that the three member delegation increased to five means an additional cost by the FA the FA must maintain the number to either sustain cost or to cut down cost.

It has since been agreed by the Ordinary Congress of the Ghana FA that the number remains three so far as delegates from the regional FAs are concerned.
