Promoted BA United draw with African United

Already-promoted BA United drew 0-0 with Wa African United on Saturday in the final Zone I Division One League promotional playoffs at the Essipong Stadium Stadium.

The Sunyani-based side sealed their return to the Ghana top-flight on Wednesday after a 1-0 win over Real Tamale United in Cape Coast made it back-to-back wins.

BA United stayed on top of the pool with seven points from three matches.

In the other match played at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium, Real Tamale United drew 1-1 with Berekum Arsenals.

BA United will join Zone II champions Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord and Great Olympics from Zone III for next season’s Ghana Premier League.

The Ghana FA Executive Committee has tentatively fixed 21 September for the start of the 2014/2015 First Capital Plus Premier League.
