Princesses Capt. Adams demands fair officiating at World Cup

Ghana’s Black Princesses Captain, Grace Adams says Ghana stands a good chance of benefiting from today’s World Cup opener against Canada if they receive fair officiating from the German Referee, Bibiana Steinhaus.

FIFA has appointed referee Bibiana Steinhaus to officiate this evening's opening game between host nation, Canada and Ghana which would be played at the Toronto National Soccer Stadium tonight.

And even though Ghana’s Captain, Grace Adams says she does not believe 35-year old Policewoman, Steinhaus often called the “First Lady” of German referees will favour the host nation, she is demanding fair officiating because she believes with that Ghana will most certainly qualify for the next round of the competition.

Grace Adams speaking ahead of the big opening fixtures says “We have gone through a lot at training so we expect to give off something better tonight against Canada.

So many times teams play all the good football but bad officiating causes a lot of problems for them that is why I am calling for fairness from whoever will be in charge in all of our games because we don’t want to be victims of bad officiating”.
