Prime Concrete beat WDP in polo

Accra, Dec. 18, GNA-Ghana continued their dominance over Nigeria , in the on-going Accra International Polo Championship as Primed Concrete beat WDP Youth of Nigeria 6-5 in their match at the Accra Polo Grounds on Thursday.

Led by their captain, Kwakye Dopoah-Dei, the Ghanaians who were a delight to watch, carried the game onto their opponents and opened the scoring through Augustine Miguel a minute inside the First Chukka. The Nigerians rallied up and scored three quick goals through Khalid Dasuki to end the Chukka 3-1 The Second Chukka produced no goal as the players' efforts at goal were thwarted by each other.

The Third and the Fourth Chukka saw Ghana scoring three and two goals respectively as the Nigerians scored two. In the other match, Vanguard Assurance of Ghana beat Rubicorn of Nigeria 8-3.
