Player Status Committee invites players

Accra, June 4, GNA - Five players from Premier League Clubs are among 26 players invited by the Player Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on the declaration of their status. They are Eric Owusu of Sekondi Hasaacas FC, Samuel Owusu of Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC, Kwesi Bonsu - Accra Great Olympics, Ibrahim Puplampu - Tema Real Sportive FC and Akwasi Bobie Ansah of King Faisal FC. The rest of the 21 players mostly from Division One Clubs include Ahmed Mensah and Akwasi Gyimah - King Solomon FC, Clement Laryea, Frederic Ampah and Christopher Awusi Ennin - Great Mariners FC and Richard Incoom and Jeremiah Akuinor both from Zaytuna FC.

Mr Emmanuel Gyimah, Deputy General Secretary of the GFA in a Press release copied to the GNA Sports named the other players as Frank Owusu Beebo- Blessing FC, Abdul-Munini Mohammed - Metro Stars, Popson William Nii Armah Ashong - Seven United, Emmanuel Ahortor - VORADEP, Philip Nana Yeboah - Domfeh Academy, Ibrahim Iddrisu-Adooge Saint Merren. The rest are Ibrahim Mohammed - Nsuatreman FC, Kweku Cole - Delorm FC, David Terpertey - Eagle Stars, Nathanial Quaye - Tele FC, Eric Kwame Debrah - Numbo United FC and Stephen Kankyira - Venomous Vipers FC, Stephen Damalie - Gold Stars FC and Baba Wuro - Midjiland FC.
