Performance of Ghanaian players abroad wrap up: Kyei emerges as unlikely hero

European football expert, Reuben Obodai brings you a comprehensive update on how Ghanaian players performed in abroad this weekend.

This weekend wasn't the best for Ghanaian players abroad in terms of hitting the back of the net as only seven players managed to do that.

It's always great to have our players who have been on the treatment coming to action as did Kwesi Appiah, but his comeback was sullied with Bernard Kumordzi's early minute injury sustained in Kortrijk loss.

Solomon Asante was once again the saviour for Phoenix as he snatched a late point for them.

However, the weekend belonged to Grejohn Kyei, who climbed off the bench to score the only goal for Stade Reims to secure their ticket to the French Ligue 1. He hasn't done much in the season but the goal he scored will in no doubt go into the history books of the club.
