Peduase Valley Resort hosts maiden bike show

Motor racers from different racing clubs trooped the parking lot of the Peduase Valley resort to partake in the maiden edition of the Peduase Bike Show.

The Peduase Bike Show is a motorcycle road racing competition that seeks to unify motor racers through lively road racing.

Out of the seventeen racers selected to partake in the competition, only seven racers were shortlisted to race, with the ten others bailing out at the eleventh hour.

Member of the Ultimate Riders MC, Emmanuel Boakye sped past the finish line in a record time of 5 minutes, 45 seconds to grab the gold medal for the maiden Peduase Bike Show.

The racers were tasked to race down the Peduase hills to the Ayi Mensa toll booth and back within the fastest lap time.

Popularly known as 299 in the motorcycle racing fraternity, Emmanuel Boakye beat six other racers after clocking the fastest time in the individual race lap.
His colleague racer at Ultimate Riders MC, Joe Sekyi secured second place after clocking 5 minutes, 56 seconds. UTV media personnel, Elias Asante settled for bronze with a time of 6 minutes, 13 seconds.

The winners were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals respectively and Peduase Lodge complementary vouchers.
