Pay me my salary – Kotoko coach screams

Coach Didi Dramani and his technical crew are seething with anger following the management’s failure to pay their accumulated three-month salary and bonuses.

Finalwhistlegh.com learned coach Didi Dramani and the rest of the technical handlers are highly upset about the situation.

Investigations have revealed that the Kumasi Asante Kotoko trainer threatened to boycott the Dwarfs game on Sunday but was cajoled by a few high ranking officials of the club to rescind his decision.

“He (Dramani) has not receive his September, October and November salaries and we are now in December… and it is now becoming difficult because things may get out of hand if we (club) are not able to pay him and his staff members all their arrears by the end of December,” our source said.

Not even the splendid performances of the team in recent weeks have convinced management to pay the coach and his staff, the source lamented.

It would be recalled that it took the intervention of club sponsor, MTN, to pay the three months’ salary arrears of the players last month after they threatened to abandon league games.

“The team is cash-strapped and it is high time the club owner and life patron, Otumfuo Osei II took steps to address the financial concerns of the club,” added the source.
