Patrick Twumasi suspects 'insiders' after robbery at residence

Ghana and FC Astana forward Patrick Twumasi believes the robbery attack he suffered was instigated by someone close to him.

The young forward was attacked by robbers at his East Legon residence and made away with valuable items.

According to the young man, he believes it's someone close to him that tipped off the gunmen.

“The robbers took away $10,000 and Ghc40,000 and they came in with a lot of weapons,” he told Starr FM.

“I thank God that no member of my family got hurt.

“They made away with my phones and my sister's money worth $10,000.

“This is the most shocking encounter I have had in my life. But I thank God nothing happened to me & my family.

“I suspect an insider because they way and manner they broke into the house is not ordinary.”

The case has been reported at the East Legon Police station.
