Patrick Twumasi remains top scoring Ghanaian player in Europe so far

Astana forward Patrick Twumasi remains the highest scoring Ghanaian player in Europe so far this season.

The 23-year-old is currently on 22 goals in all competitions for his Club.

Twumasi who is currently on the radar of German Bundesliga side VFB Stuttgart has been able to rake 9 goals in European competitions, thus UEFA Champions League and Europa League and has netted 13 goals in 30 League matches for Astana.

The Ghanaian international is two goals ahead of in-form Richmond Boakye-Yiadom who has bagged 20 goals in all competition. The Red Star Belgrade striker has 14 League goals and 6 goals in European competition and Cup matches.

Former Ghana U17 winger Ernest Asante is enjoying an excellent season at Danish Club Nordsjælland having scored 12 goals for the Club.

Albert Adomah’s 11 goals so far for Aston Villa ranked him among the top scoring Ghanaian players in Europe with youngster Okyere Kwasi Wriedt netting 10 times so far.

Joel Fameye, Nasiru Mohammed, Richard Gadze, Abu Danladi, Terique Ofosu, John Antwi, Edwin Gyasi, Godsway Donyoh and Andre Ayew have all scored a couple of goals for their respective Clubs in Europe.
