Ghanaian striker Patrick Twumasi suffered an early injury in Gaziantep FK’s 3-0 win over Kayserispor on Sunday in the Turkish Super Lig.

The Ghana international was forced off just before the hour mark and was replaced by Kenan Ozer.

He is set to undergo further test to ascertain the extent of the injury.

Twumasi’s injury didn’t affect his team as Nigerian Olarenwaju Kayode bagged a brace-including a 90th minute penalty- and an opener from Guray Vural.

He becomes the second Ghanaian to pick up an injury in the club after Aziz Tetteh.

Twumasi is the club joint top scorer with five goals in 14 league appearances.
