PLB revises fixtures of Glo Premier League

Accra, May 8, GNA - The Premier League Board (PLB) has announced a revision of some of the remaining fixtures of the 2008/2009 Glo Premier League. The development is to make way for the President's Cup slated for Wednesday, July 1, 2009. A statement signed by Kweku Ampim-Darko, Deputy General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in charge of Technical Affairs copied to GNA Sports said the affected fixtures are for Weeks 22, 26 and 27. Mr Ampim-Darko said the Week 22 matches will be played on Saturday, June 6, Week 26 matches come off on Wednesday, June 24 and Week 27 matches on Sunday, June 28 at the various approved centres. The Deputy General Secretary has therefore advised all clubs to take note of the changes of the fixtures.
