The Professional Football Association of Ghana (PFAG) have congratulated former FIFA Balon’dor winner George Oppong Weah for his latest election as President of Liberia.

Oppong Weah won the run-off election to lead the West African country for the next four years.

The ex-Liberia International thus continues to serve his country unabated having proved his loyalty to the county as a footballer.

Pending declaration as President of Liberia where he will be sworn into office, the Professional football Association of Ghana have lauded the ex-AC Milan star.

The 51-year-old who scored 22 goals in 60 appearances for his country played for the likes of AS Monaco, Paris Saint Germian, AC Milan, Chelsea, Manchester City, Olympique Marseille and Al Jazeera.
