Ownership of "Kotoko Express" to Be Transferred

The ownership of the Kotoko Express, the supposed mouth piece of Asante Kotoko F/C is to be transferred to the club. This is upon the insistence of the dissolved board.

If the proposed ceding of the ownership of the paper to Kotoko fails, a new and a true mouthpiece of the club should be established, it has been recommended.

The decision follows observation that the current situation where the CEO owns the paper represents a case of conflict of interests.

It was further observed that the transfer of the ownership to the club will ensure that Kotoko reaps the full benefits of the sales of the paper.

It has been revealed that uncountable instances abound where Kotoko is debited with the cost of production of the paper but the revenue is controlled outside the club's accounts.
