Our chances of survival are still very bleak - Tom Strand

Great Olympics coach Tom Strand is determined to lead the club out of the relegation zone after their loss to Aduana in midweek deepened their relegation woes.

Strand, who was appointed at the latter part of the first round to help maintain the club premiership status, has so far been unable to hit the target set for him as they are languishing at the relegation doldrums with just ten matches to end the campaign.

But Strand said the team is resolved to avoid relegation, which is hanging around their neck after suffering back to back defeats and currently lying 15 in the 16 team league with 21 points.

"Our chances of survival are still very bleak. I think we deserved more than a loss in this game; maybe a draw would have been better. We need to find space and luck somewhere because right now we are sinking," he said.
