Otto Addo signs for Danish Club Nordsjaellan

Former Ghana international Otto Addo has been appointed as an assistant coach for Danish Club FC Nordsjaellan. Ghanasportsonline.com can confirm.

The 40-year-old was appointed to act as a deputy to head coach Kasper Hjulmand.

Nordsjaellan which has been acquired by Rights to Dream Academy owner Tom Venon is under reinforcement having been struck with some financial difficulties.

Addo who has already been unveiled by the former Danish Champions will officially begin work on Monday.

“I’m really looking forward to this new opportunity, and I look forward to meeting my new coach colleagues and of course the players.

“ I am excited about the talent that is already in the club, and I have become familiar with when we have met FCN’s youth teams in friendly matches.

“The talent peppered with players from Right to Dream, will give us a unique opportunity to develop players to the highest level”, Addo told the club’s website.

“Otto watching football in the same way we want to play here in FCN, and his career, both as a coach and player in Germany has given him valuable experience.

“The experience will be important for our work on a daily basis on the training ground both for our players, but also for the rest of the coaching staff” Head coach says Kasper Hjulmand.”

The Ghana-born had previously worked as a Youth team coach for German Bundesliga outfit Humburg.
