Ex-Hearts defender Nuru Sulley wants to play for the Black Stars at the 2015 African Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The strong centre-back has signed a long-term deal with Libyan side Al Ittihad after a three-year stint at the Ghanaian giants.
Sulley was one of Ghana’s outstanding performers at the 2014 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament in South Africa and he has set his eyes on making the country’s squad for next year’s African Cup of Nations in the North African country.
“My target is to play for the Black Stars at the 2015 African Cup of Nations,” he said.
“It’s my aim at the moment. I believe I have enough quality to represent my country at the senior level.
“It’s every player’s dream to play for the Black Stars and so when I get the chance, I will take it.”
The former Might Jets man formed an impressive partnership with Ivorian defender Robin Gnagne during his stay at the capital-based side.
