Nyarko set for permanent Monaco switch

Monaco look set to make an offer to keep Everton midfielder Alex Nyarko on a permanent basis after a successful loan spell in the Principality. The Ghana international, who cost Everton ?4.5million when he arrived from Lens, had been at Goodison just nine months before he was involved in an unsavoury pitch confrontation with a spectator the 4-1 defeat at Arsenal in April of this year.

Nyarko threatened to quit football but, after some weeks of indecision, he finally opted for a loan move to France and now seems ready to make the move a permanent one.

Everton have already indicated to Monaco the sort of money they will be wanting for Nyarko, but it is understood that The Blues will have to settle for a lot less than the money they spent on bringing the player to England last year.
