Nyantakyi, Afriyie smoke peace pipe

Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Elvis Adjei-Baah has said the President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi and his Vice, George Afriyie, have resolved their differences after a closed door meeting with the Minister of Youth and Sports, Isaac Asiamah.

Reports indicated that the two had a frosty relationship and thus was having an effect on Ghana football but according to Mr Adjei-Baah that has been rectified.

"The minister was able to meet the GFA boss and his Vice, and it had to do with this alleged frosty relationship that existed between the two...the meeting was very successful and in the end, the two have decided to put their differences behind them and work for the betterment of Ghana football," he told Class Sports.

It was reported that the two most powerful men in Ghana football did not get along for reasons yet unknown.
