Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Frank Nuttall, has disclosed that he is not worried about his future with the club.
Ahead of the MTN FA Cup finals, the Scottish trainer who had rejuvenated the Phobians was strongly linked with a move to Elmina Sharks amid speculations of his imminent exit from the club, despite a year left on his contract.
Nuttall failed to win the FA Cup trophy after his side suffered a humiliation 1-3 defeat to rivals, Asante Kotoko, at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Speaking in a post-match interview after their loss to Kotoko, the Scottish trainer said, “I’m not particularly worried about my future at this point in time because it’s not important, but it’s all about how to improve our performance, speaking to my players, motivating them and also giving them target for the future, so to be honest my future doesn’t come in.”
Meanwhile, the management of Hearts will review Nuttall’s performance for the season, with a decision taken before the start of next season.
