The Black Stars B have failed to qualify to the CHAN Championship for the third consecutive time after drawing goalless with Burkina Faso in the second leg of the qualifier.

After losing the first leg at home by a 0-1, Maxwell Konadu and his charges were hoping to overturn the results in Ouagadougou but a goalless draw means the local Stallions qualifies on (1-0) aggregate.

Maxwell Konadu made two changes to the team that lost the final of the WAFU Championship against Senegal a week ago.

Starting Felix Annan and Benjamin Afutu ahead of Eric Ofori Antwi and the injured James Akaminko.

The Cracker between the two sides got incepted with much anticipation of greatness and brightness.

Burkina Faso were the better side in the early stages as they looked to unsettle Ghana.

But a solid defensive display and energetic midfield saw the first half the game end 0-0.

Ghana raised their tempo after the recess as they went all out in search of the opener, but couldnt break the resolute Burkina Faso defense.

Despite creating a lot of chances, Ghana couldn’t find the back of net.

Felix Annan on the other hand produced some good some decent saves to denied the home side.

None of the sides was able to find the back of the net as the referee blew his whistle for the end of the game.

Burkina Faso qualifies 1-0 on aggregate, whilst Ghana miss out at the CHAN tournament for the third consecutive times.
