Mr. Antoine Imad Ghorayeb, Director of Sales and Marketing at Japan Motors has advised Ghanaians to cultivate healthy living lifestyles to be able to contribute to the development of the nation.
Speaking at the launch of the Big Millennium Marathon Raffle held at the premises of the National Lotteries Authority (NLA), he hinted that the Nissan Kicks salon car at stake for the winner of the raffle to climax the event on 22nd September is sleek, durable and strong.
He noted that Japan Motors is a health and sports conscious company that is why they are supporting the Millennium Marathon.
Mr. George Gyamfi Osew, Director of Operations at the NLA said they support the 2018 Millennium Marathon and has waved fees charged because the event promotes the United Nations (UN) development goals on healthy living lifestyle.
Mr. Abedu Wilson, a director from the National Sports Authority (NSA) urged Ghanaians to exercise regularly and participate in the Millennium Marathon which is a “win win event”, because one takes part to remain fit and stand the chance of winning a brand new car.
Ambassador Ashim Morton, founder of the Millennium Marathon explained that participating in the marathon is free, but one has to pay 50ghc to qualify to enter the raffle and then walk, jog or run to partake in the draw. “Anybody can win” he expressed.
He noted that any lucky person can win by first texting *800*17# to all mobile networks to be registered and be at the Independence Square early morning on September 22, 2018.
He added that there would be draws conducted by the NLA every fortnight to create awareness and reward those who register from now to August 20, 2018. The 2018 Millennium Marathon is supported by Unilever, Verna Mineral Water, Run Energy Drink, Wigal, Alliance Insurance, Papaye, Elite Sports, Smart Books, Accra Mall and ddp.
