Nigeria to play Ghana

Chief Coach of the Super Falcons, Effiom Ntiero has disclosed to MEDIA that his team will square up to the Black Queens of Ghana in an international friendly ahead of the forthcoming AWC.

The veteran handler singled out Ghana as the only country that could give his team a major problem at the forthcoming AWC.

"Ghana is the only country that can pose a problem to my team and that is why I requested for a friendly match against them before the championship," he told MEDIA in Abuja.

"We are resuming next week Monday and the NFA has already approved the friendly against Ghana which we intend playing two weeks after resuming camp," Ntiero revealed.

"Ghana play good, cohesive and intelligent football. The Ghanaian team are skillful and they put the ball on the ground. They can make things happen when it comes to playing football and they have been in camp for a long time now.

"Also for the series of AWC that we have played, Ghana gave us tough times than other countries like Cameroon, South Africa and the rest."
