Nigeria beats Ghana to lift 2017 Binatone International Unity Skate Soccer Cup

The national skate soccer team, Rolling Rockets missed out the 2017 Binatone International Unity Skate Soccer cup after suffering a heavy defeat at the hands of Nigeria’s Kano Pillars.

With a 3-2 lead in the first leg, expectations were rife that coach Kotey and his charges will beat their opponents but an impressive Kano Pillar side defeated Ghana 8-1 at the Lagos State Stadium on Saturday, 9th December,2017.

Speaking to pressmen after the game, the CEO of the International Federation of Skate Soccer (IFSS), Albert Frimpong said that he was impressed with the performance of both teams and also commended Afriglobal Group for their support.

He expressed his utmost gratitude to home appliances giant, Binatone for making the game a success and also eulogized them for their unwavering support and commitment to the federation.

This match was organized by the International Federation of Skate Soccer (IFSS) an NGO committed to the development of the physically challenged members of our society (particularly polio victims) through sports in collaboration with Binatone, the first choice in household electrical and electronic appliances as the title sponsor and Afriglobal group as the match sponsor.
