Medeama SC goalkeeper Yaw Ansah Fufuro says the healthy competition between him and Eric Ofori Antwi is bringing the best out of him.

Fufuro has been selected to man the posts for the Yellow and Mauves in the last three games ahead of the former Asante Kotoko SC and Ghana U20 goalie.

He has justified the selection of the technical team by putting up some impressive performances.

"Actually, I have been with great goalkeepers in Medeama SC all this while. Foli Adade, Muntari Tagoe and Daniel Agyei have been there with me," Fufuro said.

"Eric Ofori Antwi coming to the club was normal because I have been pushing harder all these years.

"We are not in a competition for the the number position. Maybe it is just my turn to keep the posts."

His display in a penalty shootout helped the Tarkwa based side to advance to the next stage of the FA Cup last weekend.

Fufuro and emerged as man of the match in their 1-1 draw with Ashanti Gold SC on Wednesday.
