The founder and leader of Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi has prophesied the newly elected President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt ES Okraku and his team will not see any glory in their field of work for the next two years.

Speaking in a sermon at his church on Sunday, the Prophet Kobi, however, indicated any success that awaits the current GFA team will come in the year 2022.

“The only way the current GFA team will see success is from 2022 not now! The only year they will see success is 2022”. 19 no, 20 no, 21 no. It is 2022 that they will start seeing success” said Badu Kobi.

He also predicted that 2020 will be Accra Hearts of Oak year.

Kurt Okraku was elected President of the Ghana Football Association after George Afriyie conceded defeat before the 3rd round yesterday at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Accra.

He polled 59 votes as against George Afriyie’s 43 and Nana Yaw Amponsah’s 16. The Normalization Committee (NC) in charge of the elections called off the 3rd round as the rest of the candidates have stepped down leaving Kurk Okraku.

This is not the first time the man of God is giving a prophecy in 2019. He earlier said that veteran artiste Yaw Sarpong has been marked for death and will die in 2020 if nothing is done about the prophecy. This was in August.

Badu Kobi has been in the news over some controversial statements he recently made about Asante women and women of other tribes in Ghana.
