Netball Clubs in Greater Accra Region to participate in Gala competition

Accra, April 23, GNA - The Greater Accra Regional Netball Association is to organise a netball Gala competition for clubs in the Region at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex, Kaneshie-Accra on Saturday, 24 April, 2010. The one day Gala, which will be sponsored by Sunrise Food Drinks Processing Company, has various Netball Clubs including Hearts of Tramphs Ladies of Madina, Golden Ladies of Awoshie, New Golden Hands of Kaneshie and Samples Ladies of Accra Central vying for supremacy.

The rest of the participating Clubs are Golden Pots of Accra, Rainbow Sporting Club of Mataheko and Fair Point Ladies of Kpone-on-Sea. Rev, Emmanuel D. Nikoi, Chairman of the Association in a press release copied to GNA Sports said the Gala competition will be supervised by the Secretary, Miss Rebecca Tsotsoo Laryea to be assisted by Vice Chairman, Mr Godwin Nartey as well as Felix Ocran and Francis Ebo Turkson, both Technical Personnel of the Association. He called on all lovers of the sport to endeavour to come in their numbers to cheer their favourite community Clubs to achieve laurels at which the sponsors will provide some of its products and other items to the teams. 23 April 10
