Nayrko To Become A Saint ...

...GERMAIN PLAYER

Everton misfit Alex Nyarko will return to France by joining Paris Saint Germain, initially on loan, and should complete a ?3 million transfer in December, according to his agent.

The Ghanaian international, who has not played for the Toffees for over a year since an on-pitch bust-up with an irate fan, is set to get his wish of a permanent move back to France while Everton boss David Moyes could recoup two-thirds of the ?4.5 million his predecessor, Walter Smith, paid for the temperamental midfielder.

Nyarko's agent Peter McKay said the French giants were impressed by Nyarko's performances last season, when he was on loan at Monaco, but remained to be convinced about his attitude.

"The situation with Alex Nyarko is that he has signed on loan for a fee of ?300,000 with a further ?2.7 million to be paid in January," he said.

"PSG have no problems with the player's on-field ability, but there have been some concerns over his off-field problems.

"He had a great season with Monaco last term and a permanent deal should be completed by December.

Nyarko, who played for Karlsruhe and Lens before joining Everton, made just 22 Premiership appearances, scoring one goal.

The midfeilder himself added: "I would like to thank David Moyes and Bill Kenwright for letting me return to France.

"My wife and family found it difficult to settle in England and it will be good to go back to France."
