National circles council of Kotoko congratulates new management

Kumasi, Oct. 3, GNA - The National Circles Council of the Kumasi Asante Kotoko Football Club, has sent a message of congratulations to the new management team of the club.

In a statement issued in Kumasi on Tuesday and jointly signed by Mr. Anthony Osei Boateng and Mr. Godfred K. Boateng, National Chairman and Secretary respectively, the Circles believed that the appointment of the five persons to the management team of Kotoko was based on their vast experience in soccer administration and individual experiences in life and hoped they would bring them to bear on the club.

It urged them to eschew all tendencies that might bring division and disunity among them and within the ranks and file of the club. The Circles pledged their unflinching support to the new management and urged them never to hesitate to consult them on matters relating to the club's welfare at all times.

It also appealed to all Circle members and supporters of the club to rally behind the new management to enable them to chalk more successes for the club in the coming years.

In a related development, the Council had commended the Western Regional Circles Council for the organisational and spiritual support given to the club during the outstanding Onetouch Premier League match against Sekondi Hasaacas at the Gyandu Park, which culminated in a victory for Kotoko on Sunday, October 1.

It urged other regional circles to emulate the Western regional circles and do same whenever Kotoko visited their regions to play.
