Ghana winger Nana Opoku Ampomah’s move to Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce has hit a snag as both parties have failed to reach an agreement.

The Turkish Giants had keenly followed Ampomah, 24, right from his time in Belgium with Waasland Beveren before moving to German top-flight side Fortuna Dusseldorf and were interested in recruiting his services in this winter transfer window.

They have however been able to reach an agreement with representatives of the player and close sources have hinted footballmadeinghana.com that the deal is off for now.

There is however a possibility that the player will be making a move this January transfer window with some top Belgian giants interested in his services.

The likes of KRC Genk, Club Brugges and Royal Antwerp FC have all been mentioned as very much interested in Nana Ampomah.
