Nana Ampomah eulogizes Ghana legend Anthony Baffoe

Former Ghana international and now CAF Deputy General Secretary Anthony Baffoe has been eulogized by Fortuna Düsseldorf new boy Nana Ampomah.

Ampomah, 23, joined the Flingeraner a few weeks ago and has since been feeling at home.

Fortuna Düsseldorf, a former club of the former Ghana defender welcomed the youngster to the side and gave him memories of Anthony Baffoe.

Having made 77 appearances for the side, Anthony Baffoe is highly respected in the club.

But Nana Ampomah gave them a different feeling of love for the FIFA General Coordinator.

“He is a legend in Ghana! Tony Baffoe is a very respected man who helped the footballers in our country a lot,” Ampomah told the club’s website.

“He is a role model for just about every Ghanaian footballer. Playing after him in Dusseldorf are very big footsteps,” he added.

Baffoe is the General Secretary and founder of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana and doubles as a FIFA General Coordinator and CAF Deputy General Secretary in charge of competitions.
