NWL: Intellectuals pip Immigration, Lady Strikers maintain home form

The National Women’s League resumed after a two-week break.

Week 8 of the League recorded some interest results at the various League centers.

Hasaacas Ladies slipped from the first position to second after drawing 1-1 with Police Ladies at the Tesano Police depot park.

Cape Coast-based Lady Strikers maintained their impressive form at home as they defeated Samaria Ladies 3-2.

Bafana Ladies also managed a narrow 1-0 win over Halifax Ladies

In other matches Soccer Intellectuals moved up on the League table with a 2-1 away win over Immigration Ladies at the El-Walk Stadium.

Elsewhere in the Northern Zone, Subayo Ladies were disappointing after losing 4-0 at home to Fabulous Ladies.

Giants Ampem Darkoa Ladies were 2-0 away winners over Prisons Ladies.

Ashtown Ladies also secured the 3 maximum points after defeating Lepo Ladies 2-0 at home.

Northern Ladies remain at the top of the Northern zone by recording a 3-0 victory over Real Upper Ladies.
