NC Special Competition: Porcupines hunt down Wonders in Nkoranza

Asante Kotoko thumped Eleven Wonders 3-0 in the Match day 3 of the Normalization Committee Special Competition.

Two first half goals from Fatawu Safiu and Amos Frimpong, and a second half strike from Evans Owusu condemned Eleven Wonders to their third defeat in the competition.

Fatawu Abdul Safiu broke the deadlock against his former club through a free kick in the 27th minute to give Kotoko the lead.

Amos Frimong made it 2-0 for Kotoko 5 minutes later, heading home a free kick from Fatawu Abdul Safiu

The home side reacted very well and came close to reducing the deficit but Abdul Wahab’s effort was saved by Felix Annan.

The first half ended 2-0 in favour of Kotoko.

Evans Owusu added the third for the Porcupine Warriors in the 65th minute, after firing a thunderbolt that went straight into the net .

The home side huffed and puffed to reduce the tally but the Porcupine Warriors held on to the important victory.
