Undefeated Ghanaian boxer, Duke Micah, is stepping up preparations to fight Frenchman Yoan Boyeaux at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, U.S.A. on 21 April 2018.

Micah goes into the bout with a fight record of (21-0, 18 KOs) with the Frenchman coming in with a record of (41-5, 26 KOs).

“This fight is a stepping stone for me, so, I am preparing very hard for the fight. We have started studying the tapes of my opponent (Boyeaux) who appears to be a very good boxer if you consider his records.

“Personally, I do not watch much of that. My trainer is doing more of that and is teaching me what I have to do to win the bout. Mine is to be able to put in the kind of effort my coach wants me to put in, he told ClassSports from his U.S. base ahead of the bout.”

The bout will be Micah’s second defence of his WBC international bantamweight and his second fight in U.S.A. having debuted in November 2017 against Mexico’s Jose Santos Gonzalez.
