Kim Grant, head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, has said, his players were under pressure to convince the club's fans in their GFA Normalisation Special Cup opening day home fixture with Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Phobians having missed several chances in the game, won the match courtesy Kwadwo Obeng Junior's solitary goal in the 47th minute.
Grant, 46, in a post-match interview, said his players were not only under pressure but were anxious to record their first home victory upon their return to the Accra Sports Stadium.

He noted that, the anxiety in his players affected their play in the first thirty minutes of the first half.

He, however, praised the players for recovering to show their "true" selves in the second half.

"We showed what we could do in the last 15 minutes of the match. I felt because this is the first game there was a bit of apprehension and nervousness about the game. I think a lot of the players felt pressured to perform today," he said.

Hearts play next away to Elmina Sharks on Wednesday, April 3 in the second-day matches of the competition.
