My exit will not affect Hearts of Oak - Nassam Yakubu

Goalkeepers trainer Nassam Yakubu insists his departure from Hearts of Oak will not affect the team.

Nassam Yakubu resigned from his duties citing personal reasons.

The former Medeama SC technical team member exited the Rainbow Club days after assistant Coach Yaw Preko has also resigned from the Club.

The Club is hence expected to appoint a new goalkeepers Coach before the start of the season.

“I don’t think my departure is going to affect the team. Accra Hearts of Oak is a big Club, I did not resign because Yaw Preko left,” he told Starr FM.

“We did not come to the Club together, I did so because of some personal reasons, but I as I said I don’t think my exit will affect them in any way.”

The Black Stars goalkeepers Coach joined Hearts of Oak at the start of the 2015/16 season.

Hearts have reportedly appointed former Black Stars goalie James Nanor as the Club’s new goalkeeper’s Coach.
