Muntari axed from Ghana squad against Turkey

AC Milan ace Sulley Muntari has been axed from Ghana’s squad to play Turkey next week in an international friendly.

It is suspected that the midfielder is being punished for his disrespectful behaviour towards coaching staff in June’s Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifier against Lesotho away.

Muntari questioned head coach Kwesi Appiah after he was substituted in the 2-0 win over the Crocodiles.

The 28-year-old never apologized for his unprofessional act and looks like he is paying for it.

Muntari has been in fine form for AC Milan who are currently in the United States for pre-season.
