Morrison excited with debut performance

Former AshantiGold SC versatile midfielder Bernard Morrison has expressed delight at his blistering start in the Dr Congo league with AS Vita Club.

Morrison, 23, joined the Congolese outfit at the end of the Ghana Premier League and has since been an incredible addition to the side.

Morrison was voted Player of the Match in his first game against Motema Pembe and crowned it with a goal over the weekend against FC MK in the Congolese league.

The excited ex-Ashgold lad disclosed how happy he is at the turn of events and hoped it continues like this.

“Yes I’m happy things have started moving on well for me. Because of what I did in Ghana, much was expected from me here. But gradually it’s showing,” Morrison told GHANAsoccernet.com

“It’s not easy here though because there are quality players here too who make the league interesting and competitive, and the fans too make the game exciting because they always come to the stadium in their numbers,” he added.
