Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Abubakari has joined Helsinborg IF from fellow Swedish side BK Hacken.
The 31-year-old leaves Hacken after two seasons with the Club.
Abubakari was signed on a three-year deal by Helsinborg IF after a successful spell with Hacken.
He joins Ghana international Edwin Gyami at Helsinborg IF.
“It feels really good to be here. I know a lot about the club when several of my friends played here,” Abubakari told the club official website.
“In addition, I have met and followed the team so I know it is one of the biggest clubs in Sweden.
“Supporters here are amazing and love the team very much so HIF does not feel unfamiliar to me.”
The Kumasi-born former WAFA player has played for AEL, Panserraikos, Doxa Drama and Åtvidabergs FF.
He managed to score two goals in 55 appearances for BK Hacken.
