Right to Dream graduate Mohammed Abu was voted man of the match on his return to the Lorient FC starting lineup following their 3:1 win over St Etienne in Ligue 1 on Sunday.
The on-loan Manchester City player had been out of action for three weeks due to an injury but he was an instant hit in midfield, giving the back four enough defensive cover during the game.
Lorient destroyed St Etienne's European hopes with goals from Kevin Monnet-Paquet, Fabien Robert and Yann Jouffre while Kurt Zouma got the consolation for his side.
Abu, 21, joined Lorient in January after a short stint with Spanish side Rayo Vallecano and has featured in six matches so far.
He helped his side secure a 2-1 win over Evian on his debut and has played consistently until the injury last month.
The former Right to Dream player has also had loan spells with German side Eintracht Frankfurt and Stromsgodset in Norway.
He made his international debut with Ghana in 2012 and was part of the Black Stars squad at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
